Downtown Bangkok Cafe

The decor is quite nice with traditional decorations. It has various dinning rooms both upstairs and downstairs to the extent like a normal house layout. The service was slow probably because it was under staffed. We ordered various dishes from Curry to noodle to fried rice. All the portion size were small but the seasoning was authentic. However, the proteins that came with all the dishes were rather little. Overall, the experience was okay.

Wonderfully flavored delicious food. Good ambiance. Overall nice service. I’m giving 3 star because I felt there was too much lettuce in my papaya salad. Also there were too many string beans in all of the other dishes. We had ordered chicken spring rolls and vegetables spring rolls; I reconfirmed they were what we had ordered; however, I did not find any difference in both. What I mean is: there was no meat in the chicken spring rolls.

This place is fantastic. Hidden gem, best Thai food around.
